Web Industries, Inc. COVID-19 Update March 24, 2020

March 24, 2020

Dear Valued Partners,

Web Industries thanks you for your continued support during this very challenging situation, and we want to provide you with an update on our response to the COVID-19 health emergency. The Web Industries Leadership Team is closely monitoring the status of the outbreak and its potentially adverse impact on supply chain continuity in all our businesses.

The safety of our employees, communities, customers, and suppliers is our primary concern. We are following the guidance of global health experts at the World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) on preventing the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We are taking several measures to ensure that we safely manage this situation while continuing to conduct business effectively. We are rigorously cleaning and disinfecting our facilities and equipment on a set schedule and our employees practice frequent hand washing. Most importantly, we are asking that our employees stay at home if they feel sick.

Our people

Numerous state governments have ordered individuals to stay home or at their place of residence, except as needed to maintain continuity of operations of the federally recognized critical manufacturing sectors as outlined at https://www.cisa.gov/identifying-critical-infrastructure-during-covid-19. Under this Order, Web Industries is continuing business operations in order to maintain continuity of operations in these critical manufacturing sectors.

During this time, the health, safety and well-being of our employees, customers, communities and suppliers are our top priorities as we provide continued service to our U.S. government and non-government customers.

As the number of reported COVID-19 cases continues to escalate, we are taking the following additional preventative measures:

  • Our locations are complying with all governmental requirements covering manufacturing facilities and offices.
  • Wherever possible, all non-manufacturing personnel are working from home.
  • We are practicing “social distancing” at our facilities and encouraging our employees to practice it in their communities to help slow the spread of this virus.
  • We are holding all internal and external meetings via Zoom.
  • We have implemented site entry restrictions and have staggered staffing schedules to prevent the potential spread of the disease into our facilities.
  • We have implemented an international and domestic travel ban within our company.
Our Partners

Web Industries is committed to remaining proactive and transparent during this crisis. We will do everything possible to anticipate future challenges that may affect the supply chain. We are receiving regular status reports from our suppliers and are continuing to monitor the situation. If there are any indications that our supply chain has been impacted, we will immediately inform our customers.

These are very difficult and uncertain times for everyone, but Web Industries remains focused on providing a safe work environment for all our employees. Additionally, we are committed to helping our global community meet the needs of customers that support the critical manufacturing sectors as designated by the U.S. government and other countries. We hope that you and your families are staying healthy, and we look forward to better times for our continued work together.
