Westborough, MA Web Industries announces a new state-of-the-art line to broaden core capabilities, create an integrated production platform, and provide customized solutions for new and existing customers. The new line enables end-to-end process development from design through prototyping, qualification, and commercial production. Installed in a Class 100,000 clean room, the line is focused on medical, aerospace, and emerging technologies markets.
According to Michael Quarrey, General Manager of Web's Hartford facility, This line allows us to process materials with a degree of control that can be tuned to the most demanding applications. Servo controls, closed loop feedback, and in-line process monitoring reduce risk and simplify validation. This investment is an important element of our business model to support customers in high performance markets for printing (UV, IR), laminating, and die cutting.
