Pilot Coating
Web’s GMP coating processes are designed to add functionality to flexible materials. Our pilot coating services enable fast and cost effective evaluation of alternative Coating application methods, chemical formulations, and substrates. Application methods include flexographic, roto-gravure, slot die, and spray nozzle with IR and hot air drying and/or UV curing. All methods can be applied with either 100% or patterned coverage. Functional coatings include:
- Cleansing
- Lubricating
- Hydrophilic and hydrophobic coatings
- Antistatic
- Slip modification
- UV masking
- Hot melt or aqueous adhesives
- Release coatings and pressure sensitive adhesives
Pilot Printing
Web Industries pilot printing capabilities are designed to support multi-color flexographic and roto-gravure printing of flexible materials. Our pilot printing services enable fast and cost effective evaluation of different print methods and patterns. For supporting processes we offer corona treatment, and UV and IR curing.
Pilot Laminating
Web Industries pilot laminating capabilities increase functionality by combining multiple materials together by a variety of methods:
- Hot and cold roller pressure lamination
